Local musician Nigel Creasey records first solo album

Local musician Nigel Creasey has just recorded his new CD entitled ‘Far From Home’, featuring aselection of traditional folk songs and tunes, mainly from Ireland. Nigel plays five instrumentsincluding guitar, melodeon, mandolin, whistle and Bodhran. It was recorded at Fenden Studios downthe fen. Engineered and produced by his son Tom Creasey.The album has thirteen tracks mainly Irish ballads and dance tunes.Nigel has been playing folk music for a few decades now, and has recorded with a number of otherartists, but this is his first solo album.
